We are seeking an Education Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity to work for a growing, successful company in Clayton, Missouri. This new role will be responsible for building out curriculum for our next generation of clients with a focus on financial literacy and the understanding needed to understand wealth and use it with purpose. The core objective of this curriculum will be to empower children, teens and young adults from high-net worth families to make informed, responsible and confident financial decisions. The role is collaborative with our client service teams and may involve direct client exposure in time.
RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE:
- Establish and build out curriculum to educate our next generation of clients to enable them to understand and manage the wealth that has been entrusted to them
- Utilize cognitive development insights in the teaching approach, recognizing that each age group’s brain develops differently, impacting financial understanding and behavior
- Equip the next generation of clients with tools and practical knowledge needed to manage finances wisely – aligning with personal values, family legacy and community contribution
- Serve as an in-house resource and education expert for client service teams in implementing the next gen curriculum
- Create and maintain next gen document library, information and resources
- Manage and prepare next gen materials for periodic client meetings
- Respond to a variety of client team requests related to the next gen curriculum
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND:
- Bachelor's degree required, teaching and/or business background preferred
- Proactive self-starter with demonstrated initiative and proven project ownership skills; entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to manage numerous projects with different client service teams
- High energy level, strong work ethic, quick learner
- Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Team player experience and mentality; willing to give best effort on full spectrum of tasks ranging from simple/repetitive to complex/challenging
- Lifelong learner; eager to learn new skills in a variety of financial planning areas and ability to teach others
PREFERRED SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Prior experience in the education/training field
- Baseline knowledge of wealth management and financial concepts considered a plus
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities/resourcefulness
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience with SharePoint and/or Salesforce CRM considered a plus
