Substitute Preschool Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to engage with students effectively. Experience is highly desirable.

Duties

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with curriculum goals.
• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student development.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary to meet individual needs.
• Incorporate activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with other educators to enhance curriculum development and classroom activities.
• Maintain a safe and organized classroom space conducive to learning.

Qualifications

• Experience working with preschool-aged children in a classroom setting is essential
• Strong skills in implementing teacher’s lesson plans
• Knowledge of childhood development
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• A passion for educating young children and helping them reach their full potential.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per day

Expected hours: 22 – 27.5 per week
