Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Assist in oversight of the nursing department and ensure adherence to care plans and resident rights.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
- Manage nursing assistant staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized care plans for residents.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Monitor patient health status and coordinate hospice care as needed.
- Conduct regular assessments of nursing practices and implement improvements as necessary.
- Stay informed about advancements in nursing practices, anatomy, physiology, and MDS requirements.
Skills
- Proficient in developing and managing care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decisions.
- Experience in nurse management with a focus on team leadership and development.
- Understanding of resident rights and advocacy within the healthcare setting.
- Ability to manage shifts effectively while ensuring adequate staffing levels.
- Knowledge of MDS (Minimum Data Set) requirements for patient assessments.
- Commitment to upholding HIPAA standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Knowledge and experience with PEAK program

Pay: $28.38 - $40.58 per hour
