Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant (Full-Time)

St. Luke Lutheran Community is currently hiring for a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant - FULL TIME ($1,500 Signing Bonus)!

As the Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of resident rooms, community areas, facility offices, entrances, and lobbies. Additionally, all Housekeeping Assistants are trained in laundry to collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute Resident clothing as well as facility linens and other items.

• Report to: Housekeeping/Laundry Supervisor
• Hours: Full-Time/Varied Shifts (see below)
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Schedule:

We currently have 2 different shifts available:

• 7:00AM - 3:30PM (1 opening)
• 9:00AM - 5:30PM (1 opening)
• Every other weekend/Every other holiday (required)
• Ability to cover other shifts as needed (preferred)

Requirements:

• Basic knowledge/experience with cleaning and laundry (required)
• Nursing home/long-term care experience (highly preferred)
• Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age (required)
• Must possess a minimum of a 10th grade education (required)
• Must be available full-time (required)
• Must be able to work every other weekend/every other holiday (required)
