St. Luke Lutheran Community -North Canton is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our team as a midnight RN Coordinator. As an RN Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating nursing care for our residents, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compassionate care are met.
Schedule:
- 3 x 12's
- 7:00PM - 7:30AM
- Every other weekend/every other holiday required
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Implement and maintain established nursing objectives and standards
- Coordinate and supervise nursing staff to ensure optimal resident care and adherence to established protocols and procedures
- Report to the DON the status of residents, problem areas, and other related matter.
- Conduct regular assessments and evaluations of staff performance and provide feedback and training as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and therapists, to provide comprehensive care to residents
- Provide direct nursing care and pass medication as necessary
- Participate in initial assessments upon admission
- Meet with residents, and/or family members, as necessary
- Participate in Interdisciplinary Team processes including completion of assessments for MDS
Requirements:
- Valid and current RN license in the state of Ohio
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Long-term-care or other related health care facility experience
