- JOB SUMMARY
- Physicians provide comprehensive care for the appropriate patient population including diagnosing and treating a wide variety of illnesses that can occur in any of the body systems. Physicians use a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic techniques to treat patients through medication and hospitalization. Responsible for meeting, assessing and diagnosing patients and providing them with healthcare services that embody the St. Luke’s mission, The Patient Above All Else. Prescribes patients with appropriate procedures, medication, health regimens and lifestyle adjustments that will contribute to their recovery from diagnosed health issues, prevent future health issues and promote a healthier life.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Experience: Completion of accredited residency program.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current or pending license in Minnesota and/or WI to practice as Physician. Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Department of Public Safety (DPS) registration for prescription writing in Minnesota and/or Wisconsin. Board eligible or Board certified in the appropriate specialty.

Aspirus St. Luke's regional healthcare organization is seeking a top-notch BC/BE Radiation Oncology physician to join their well established and thriving practice, who will work in collaboration with a well-respected and highly skilled group of Medical and Radiation Oncology providers in a practice that supports your autonomy, while also lending a supportive environment for optimal patient care.
Practice specifics
The physician will join 1 radiation oncologist, 4 hematology/oncology physicians, and 2 skilled APCs.
- Position is 0.6 FTE.
- Cancer Center consists of outpatient clinic, LINAC, infusion therapy, pharmacists, dosimetrists, and social workers.
- Practice consists of adult patients with all types of cancer.
- We deliver SRS and SBRT, in addition to IMRT and 3D-CRT treatments.
- Average of 10-12 patients a day with an average of 25 treatments per day on the TrueBeam.
- Extremely light Call: Rotate equally between two Radiation Oncologists; alternating weekends with weekday call respective of which physician is in clinic and alternating Wednesdays.
- Medical Oncology and Infusion Therapy in the same suite.
- Excellent RN staff.
- Well respected and highly reviewed hospice program and a palliative care support team available.
