JOB SUMMARY
-
Assists in consolidating data from eCW into Epic. Collects important patient information from current patient medical record and transcribes that information into discrete fields or locations within Epic. Clinical data information will be clearly defined. Navigates the electronic medical record systems and other medical databases, reviewing medical records and abstracting medical record data related to specified project requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Completion of 11th grade in High School.

Able to read, write and comprehend medical terminology. Computer experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access. Ability to organize and prioritize work. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently, accept responsibility, aptitude for accuracy and able to maintain confidentiality.
