Position Summary:
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: BSN degree required. Master's degree in nursing, Business, Healthcare Management or other related Healthcare degree required. Internal candidates may be considered if they are currently enrolled in a related Master's Degree program.
Experience: A minimum of five years’ nursing experience and 2 years management experience required. Prior Women's Services nursing experience required. Head Nurse/Administrative experience preferred.
Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri

Position Summary:
Responsible for administrative leadership of Women/Maternal Child Health departments. Responsible for quality of patient care by ensuring sufficient and properly prepared personnel carry out the functions of the Department of Nursing in L&D, Nursery and NICU departments. Develops, directs and ensures the implementation and compliance of Standards of Nursing Practice that promote optimum healthcare delivery. Responsibilities also include a knowledge of social, economic, regulatory and legal issues affecting the healthcare system; seeks all opportunities for keeping staff updated in healthcare practices. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
