About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing ultrasound patient examinations based on approved department protocols and procedures. This position requires strong knowledge and competency in department scan protocols, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct ultrasound examinations using advanced equipment and technology
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, including cleaning and restocking supplies
- Assist Interventional Nurses and Radiologists during invasive procedures
- Transport laboratory samples to the lab following established procedures
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A graduate degree from a recognized Medical Sonography Program
- ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry certification
- Experience in Abdominal, OB-GYN, small parts, and breast imaging
- Knowledge of computer basics and proficiency in RIS/HIS systems
