Position Summary:
Responsible for delivering health care services and treatments to patients of the practice, as delegated by the Physician(s), within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner, and in accordance with the Collaborative Practice Agreement with LLC and Physicians(s). Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
The neonatal nurse practitioner (NNP), under the management of the Head Nurse will:
- provide care for neonates in the nursery and delivery room in collaboration with the neonatologist as defined by the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and institutionally approved guidelines and be responsible for designated
- function collaboratively with the neonatologist to deliver high quality, consistent neonatal care as outlined below. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission and values
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Nursing Degree, Completion of a Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program
Licensure: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri, certified by the American Nurses Association as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
