What are the responsibilities and job description for the Therapy Support Staff - Physical Rehab position at St. Luke's Hospital?
The Therapy Support Staff–Physical Rehab completes office, reception, and clerical duties for the Physical Rehabilitation Department, as well as supporting the practitioners both in house and at outreach clinics. Registers patients, verifies insurance eligibility, and determines prior authorization needs, reconciles denials and assists with coding and billing for all patients. Maintains materials and supplies for all department areas.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience : One (1) year related experience in a medical office or related experience working with automated systems and computer technology.

- Experience : Two (2) or more years in a medical setting to include billing, coding and medical terminology.
