Job Description

Job Title : Ultrasound Technician

Job Specialty : OBGYN Magic Valley Women's Health

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 8-hour days

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 3 years

License : Required to submit

Certifications :

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer OB / GYN (RDMS-OB / GYN) via ARDMS

Must-Have : Experience with Epic Systems Corporation - EpicCare Inpatient - EMR

Job Description :

  • Perform ultrasound examinations specifically for OBGYN care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care within an acute setting.
  • Utilize the EpicCare Inpatient - EMR charting system for maintaining patient records and data integrity.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a professional healthcare environment.
  • Participate in a mandatory 24-hour orientation to understand unit-specific procedures and systems.
  • Follow the cancellation policy : up to 4 shifts cancelable per 13-week assignment.
  • Maintain and verify equipment functionality, ensuring all machines are in working order before starting examinations.
  • Demonstrate excellent patient care and communication skills in a diverse setting.
