What are the responsibilities and job description for the Med Aide position at St. Luke's Medical Center?
Provides a variety of services to assisted living residents that promote dignity and independence in a secure and safe environment.
These services include:
- Assistance with personal cares such as dressing, showering, and other activities of daily living
- Housekeeping and laundry services
- Serving snacks and meals
- Experience is a plus but not required - we will train you on site!
** $1,000 sign on BONUS for new full-time employees
Requirements:
- Obtain and maintain a Nurse Aide License via the ND Department of Health Nurse Aide Registry
- Obtain Certified Medication Aide License - course and training provided in house
- Able to do physical work which may including standing for long periods of time, bending, and pushing or pulling
- Self-motivated and able to pay attention to details
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Maintains a clean criminal background, sex offender, and child/adult protective service report
- Kind, compassionate, and enjoys working with the elderly as part of a team to ensure each resident receives the highest quality of care
