JOB SUMMARY
-
The Rad-Mammo Technologist, under the administrative direction of the Clinic Manager and the technical direction of the SLH Radiology Outreach Technologist, performs diagnostic radiographic procedures and screening or diagnostic mammograms, including related quality controls. Performs darkroom/film processor duties. Maintains related quality assurance records required for mammography services. Maintains x-ray files, orders and maintains related x-ray supplies. Performs EKGs, spirometry testing, heel ultrasound and assists Physician with Cardiac Stress Testing and related duties. Performs functions as assigned by Clinic Manager.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate of 2-year accredited radiologic technology program.

Experience: N/A

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
WI Locations: Must have Wisconsin Radiographer License.
MN Locations: Radiologic Technologist Registered RT(R). Must have Wisconsin Radiographer License if floating to WI Clinic Location.
All Locations: Within ninety (90) days of hire, BLS Certification with a designation of either BLS Provider or Healthcare Provider from either the American Heart Association or American Red Cross or Military Training Network.

Knowledge of radiation safety practices. Knowledge of customer relations principles. Ability to function well in stressful situations, to exercise good judgment, accept personal responsibility and carry out assigned tasks. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious and cooperative working relationships with other people, both in person and on the telephone. Ability to effectively communicate with Physicians, patients and support staff. Ability to write legibly, see, hear, read, walk and speak in English. Computer keyboarding skills.
