Main Responsibilities
- Performing routine maintenance tasks on assigned equipment and machinery
- Testing and constructing new equipment and systems
- Transporting supplies, equipment, and waste
- Maintaining outside grounds and facilities
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- Three (3) years of job-related experience
- Class C Boiler's License; or initial acquisition of Special Engineer License within ninety (90) days following date of hire and must obtain a 2-C Boiler's License prior to the expiration of the initial Special Engineers License or within fifteen (15) months of hire into this position if a Special Engineers License was already possessed on and has been maintained since the date of hire
Desirable Qualifications
- Two (2) years Technical or Trade School
- Previous experience with heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing; AND/OR previous related experience in a health care setting
- Class C Boiler's License
Physical Work Environment
- Physically demanding role requiring moderate physical effort
- Frequent prolonged standing/walking, pushing, pulling, or moving/lifting heavy equipment and/or supplies
- Exposure to loud equipment noise, hazardous steam and heat, wet or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and extreme temperatures
