Job Summary:
">- We are seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team at St. Luke's Boise Medical Center.
About the Role:
">This is a 13-week travel assignment with a hospital in Idaho that requires a skilled Labor and Delivery RN to work 12-hour shifts.
">The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery and possess skills in pre-term labor, c-sections, and recoveries, as well as high-risk patients.
">Responsibilities:
">- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
Requirements:
">- At least 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery required.
Schedule Information:
">- 12-hour shifts
- MUST START ON A SPECIFIED DATE WITH NO EXCEPTIONS
- Shifts: 06:50-19:20 and 18:50-07:20
- Weekend Requirements: Where the needs are we put our traveler
- Holiday Requirements: Occasional scheduling may be needed
- Floating Requirements: Yes, float to Meridian, Nampa hospitals and Antepartum unit
Unit Specific Information:
">- L&D/PP/MB (LDRP)
Additional Details:
">- ACLS, BLS, NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), AWHONN Fetal Monitoring Courses required
- # of L&D Beds: 16 and 13 Antepartum beds
- # of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 3
- # of Triage beds: 8
- # of Postpartum beds: 32 beds on Mother Baby Care Unit on another floor
- # of Births per year: 4194 deliveries in 2023, 320-400 per month
- Charge Nurse on each shift, does not take patients unless absolutely no nurses available
- CSTs every shift
- OB Laborist and Neonatologist in house 24/7
- Designated CRNA in house 24/7
- No Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit, RNs do not read their own strips
- EFM System: Centricity Perinatal-GE
- 1 shift in each area-LD, Antepartum, and LD OR for orientation
