What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant-Case Management position at St Lukes Cornwall Hospital Health System?
Pay Range $20-$23 per hour
Provides administrative support in discharge planning activities and continuity of care needs for patients. Duties include initiating referrals for post-hospital care needs, sending updates to payers, obtaining pre-authorizations, arranging transportation, and collaborating with case managers throughout the discharge planning process.
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare-related field preferred. Minimum of one year experience in healthcare revenue cycle, including knowledge of prior authorizations, benefits, insurance coverage, preferably in hospital environment. Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be competent in Microsoft suite.
