Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise, ID is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team.
Under limited/moderate supervision, enhance organizational cybersecurity by identifying and addressing security gaps, assists in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, supports multiple cyber security solutions and assesses moderately complex risks.
- Acts as an intermediate-level information security consultant, identifying and addressing security gaps, and providing support to the organization.
- Assists in the development and implementation of security Policies, Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Participate and design activities to enhance information security awareness within the organization.
- Conduct security risk assessments, including 3rd party risk assessments, collaborating with business partners, vendors, and legal teams to identify and prioritize risks. Document findings and support informed risk-based decision-making.
- Analyze and investigate complex security events to support the security incident response process.
- Participate in daily security operations by monitoring systems and configuring security tools, while conducting vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate vulnerabilities effectively.
- Mentors and trains the cybersecurity team in security tools and adherence to security best practices.
- Stays informed about emerging cybersecurity threats and evolving technologies to inform the team and make suggestions to integrate new knowledge into practice.
- Collaborate with the Cyber Security Engineers to optimize security tools and engage with various internal and external stakeholders to enhance security processes and posture.
- Perform other duties as assigned, showing flexibility and adaptability to changing organizational needs.
