What You Can Expect:

- The Skilled Trades Technician 3, under minimal supervision, is responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, buildings, and equipment for the organization. Ensures compliance with company policies as well as applicable state and federal regulations.
- HVAC (Heat, Ventilating, Air Conditioning):The HVAC Mechanic installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.• Monitors HVAC systems and operations and ensures that routine preventive maintenance is performed according to established schedules.• Checks, repairs and/or replaces valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, pipes and other functional components of the system.
- Under minimal supervision, performs repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on buildings and facilities, equipment, fixtures, and systems.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains facility systems.
- Performs work based on dispatched service or daily/weekly work schedules.
- Reviews work as required to document specific needs (materials, supplies, instructions, etc.).
- Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Reviews services requests for repairs and maintenance, determines nature of problem, and recommends appropriate solution.
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of a group of employees.
- Coordinates work with outside contractors.
- Assures code and building standards are met.
- Serves as a trainer, lead or subject matter expert. Acts as first point of escalation. May participate in interview, training and onboarding process. May participate in performance improvement initiatives as needed.
- Reveals mastery of advanced duties of a specialized/technical nature.
- Encounters diverse problems that require thorough analysis.
- Serves as a resources to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 4 years of experience in area of specialization.
- Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver's License AND must hold a Journeyman License in one of the following areas: Electrical, Plumbing or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning)
