Position Summary:
Accountable for managing the day-to-day operations to ensure the following: operational efficiencies, quality of patient care, regulatory compliance, support of business development & patient base growth, achievement of key performance indicators and people management/development. The Administrator supervises the staff. Direct responsibility of ensuring the department meets applicable Federal, State, and local laws regarding the certification and licensure process at all times. Responsible for long range planning, fiscal viability and quality of care provided by the department. Recruits, interviews, and hires staff and monitors quality care and organizational performance. Assist other disciplines in coordinating activities when necessary, assuming responsibility for continuity, appropriateness, and quality. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Administrator must have a bachelor’s degree in a healthcare related field. Masters preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or Administrator experience in Home Health/Hospice. Must have knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation for Home Health and Hospice with Joint Commission experience preferred.
Licensure: RN, LCSW or PT preferred.
