Position Summary:
Reviews clinical appropriateness to schedule diagnostic procedures per provider request adhering to established protocols to achieve successful clinical outcomes. Reviews provider orders for accuracy and completeness and follows up with physician offices as needed. Resolves scheduling conflicts by evaluating all available resources including technical components, accessibility, and clinical staff intervention to meet patient expectations. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Previous scheduling and/or physician front office experience preferred.
