Certification Details BLS ACLS NIHSS Job Details A hospital in Idaho is in need of Telemetry RN's to work a 13 week travel assignment. The Tele nurses will be working 12 hour shifts, nights or days are available. The hospital is wanting someone to start ASAP. Job Requirements Must have 2 years experience as a Tele nurse. Must have cardiac drip experience. NIH stroke assessment experience required. Post cath recovery and chest tube experience required. Schedule Information 0700-1930 and 1900-0730 shifts available. Travelers will fill in the needs for weekends and holidays. No call or standby requirement. Floating to like units and Med / Surg at times may be required. Unit Specific Information Tele techs on floor until June, then they will centralize off site. RNs required to read and document every 6 hours. Currently using SpaceLab monitors, transitioning to Philips. Additional Details Department : Telemetry | RN Unit : Tele Beds : 27 will be adding 10 more beds in June. Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 Common diagnosis : CHF, NSTEMI, STEMI, Stroke, Sepsis, Diabetes, CAD, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Pneumothorax, post cath lab patients. Charge Nurse / House Supervisor available, will not take patients. RT / Equipment : CPAP, BiPAP, high flow- RT will manage. Department Specific Orientation : System onboarding then 2 orientation shifts.
