St. Mark Catholic Church in Independence, Missouri has an immediate opening for a Business/Operations Manager. This is a leadership position, responsible for the efficient and effective administration of the financial condition, physical plant and human resources of the parish, serving as the primary on-site decision maker with matters of significance. This position reports to the Pastor.
Requirements
Essential Duties
· Manage and direct all accounting functions such as accounts payable, general ledger activity, and financial reporting.
· Prepare, administer and review budget process in collaboration with the Pastor and Finance Council.
· Direct the office administrative functions related to parish ministries and daily operations.
· Manage the human resources needs of our parish staff, including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, medical leaves, and policy implementation.
· Manage the parish staff and volunteers.
· Mange the maintenance and repair of all buildings, grounds, and mechanical systems

Qualifications
· Undergraduate degree in business, finance or accounting, or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum of three years’ experience in accounting, finance, business operations or related field.
· Intermediate to advanced skill level in Accounting Software.
· Active Catholic in good standing is perfered, though familiarity with the Catholic understanding of ministry is required.
