Job Overview
The Center Director is responsible for the oversight and daily operation of the St. Mark Early Learning Center. Seeking someone with experience in leading an early learning center and communicating it's mission and ministry.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the center's operations, including staff supervision, new program ideas and developing child engagement.
- Recruit new teachers and provide training and orientation.
- Conduct center tours and provide orientation for new parents.
- Educate staff on best practices in early childhood education and foster professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, community members, and St. Mark Methodist Church to enhance program offerings and community involvement.
- Be a good steward of the centers facilities and funds.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements related to the center's operation.
Qualifications
- B.S. in Early Childhood Education preferred but not required.
- In place of B.S., must have at least four (4) years experience as a Director of a Child Care Center and/or at least six (6) years experience working with children birth to five (5) years in a center setting.
