Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." You will also act as an advocate for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization's vision, mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive clinical outcomes.
As a Registered Nurse in the Pain Clinic at our facility you be joining a hard-working team that is passionate about providing excellent patient care and committed to supporting one another.
In this role:
St. Mark's has expanded emergency access to the communities we serve with two free standing emergency centers, Taylorsville Emergency Center and West Valley Emergency Center. Both locations have 10 plus patient rooms are staffed 24/7 by experienced board-certified emergency room physicians, nurses and support teams from St. Mark's Hospital. In addition to ER care, both facilities give comprehensive imaging services, including computerized tomography (CT scan), Xray, and ultrasound as well as a fully-equipped medical laboratory.
Nestled at the foot of the Wasatch Mountains, St. Mark's sits in a picturesque and ideal location. From our hospital doors it's a quick commute to Salt Lake's urban and cultural benefits, and a short drive to outdoor adventures and Utah's glorious national parks.

As a Registered Nurse in the Pain Clinic at our facility you be joining a hard-working team that is passionate about providing excellent patient care and committed to supporting one another.
In this role:
- You will, under the general supervision of the Administrative Director and/or Charge Nurse, give post-anesthesia care to patients.
- You will systematically and continually assess the health and status of patients, assuring the application of age-specific standards.
- You will collaborate with the patient and patient’s family and develop and implement patient care plans to include problems, goals, evaluations, and interventions.
- You will use critical thinking skills to appropriately assess situations and/or patients and demonstrate accurate prioritization of related interventions/procedures.
- You will document assessments, interventions, and evaluations of care objectively and timely using computer technology and/or written forms as required by the department.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Utah required.
- BSN preferred.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
- American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification.
- Previous RN experience with post-surgical patients strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of RN experience required
