Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Special Procedures RN (Interventional Radiology), you will be responsible for providing quality patient care during the peri-procedure stay, including assessment of safety, comfort, physiological and psychological needs.
- You will work closely with Radiologists, technologist staff, ancillary departments, and physicians to plan and coordinate care.
- You will perform and demonstrate proficiency in sterile technique and equipment use.
- You will function as a patient advocate, provide direct patient care, and meet physical and emotional needs.
Qualifications include:
- Current Utah RN license in good standing.
- BSN preferred. Certification in Radiological Nursing encouraged.
- One year of hospital clinical experience; Critical Care or ED background preferred.
- Modest sedation administration nursing experience American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
