Duties
- Provide direct support and assistance to residents in various settings within long term care.
- Facilitate recreational therapy activities that promote physical, emotional, spiritual and social well-being.
- Manage daily schedules for residents, and activities to enhance their quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Document resident progress and maintain accurate records of services provided.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each resident.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
Experience
- Previous experience in long term care preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
