St Martha Center,  is looking to hire for the  Medical Records  position. Salary : $15 / hr

The Medical Records works closely with the Nursing Department.

Responsibilities for Medical Records :

Collect, assemble, check and file resident charts

  • maintain medical records in accordance with federal and state guidelines
  • review discharge and death records for all nursing units
  • respond timely to requests for medical records for current and past residents
  • prepare and maintain a log of discharge records
  • ensure all resident charts are complete including doctor signatures
  • return incomplete charts to nursing
  • maintain physician credentials for current and new doctors
  • assist in arranging for and making appointments for residents
  • copy charts as requested
  • assist nursing unit with clerical functions as needed
  • other duties as assigned

    • Qualifications for Medical Records :

  • High school degree or equivalent
  • 1 year medical records experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • previous clerical experience

    • part time 8-4
