What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4th Teacher - part-time position at St. Mary Catholic School and Childcare?
St Mary Catholic School is seeking an individual with the ability to plan, organize and implement an appropriate rigorous curriculum that is provided in a safe and caring elementary school environment. This will be achieved through creatively teaching and delivering strategies and lesson plans that are rooted in a standards-based curriculum.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials that facilitate active learning.
Provide appropriate feedback on work.
Monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies.
Maintain accurate and complete records of student's progress and development.
Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues and parents regarding student progress and needs.
Prepare classroom for class activities.
Hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-12:30
The ideal candidate will be an empathetic and caring individual who holds a bachelor's degree in elementary education with the appropriate state teaching credentials and can pass a criminal background check.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18,000.00 - $21,000.00 per year
