Hiring Salary: $35.70-$46.41
Responsibilities:
Conducts an in-depth interview with patient to ensure full understanding of the surgical procedure, required preparation, and all other relevant information.
Reviews patient s medical history and medications, assesses health status, and identifies any medical anomalies that may impact planned surgery.
Initiates consultation with other physicians and/or orders additional pre-operative testing, as needed.
Provides counsel to patient or patient s representative regarding timing, transportation before and after surgery, and planning for in-patient stay as needed.
Minimum Qualifications Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Required Credential(s): Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Preferred Credential(s): BLS Provider.
Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.
Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
Salary : $36 - $46
