We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Part Time RN, specializing in wound ostomy care.
What You Will Do:
- Perform accurate patient assessments and identify patient needs
- Evaluate progress and outcomes
- Initiate appropriate nursing interventions
- Provide patient and family teaching related to the treatment plan, procedures, and preventative measures
- Provide direct care tailored to the patient's condition and age
- Educate clinical staff on the treatment plan, procedures, and preventative measures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Holds current RN licensure in the state
- Graduate of an accredited wound ostomy care nurse program with current licensure
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the specialty is required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is preferred, Advanced Cardiac Life Support is preferred
- Wound Ostomy Care Nurse (WOCN) certification is preferred
