Director of Religious Education (Tomahawk, WI)

ST. MARY’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, TOMAHAWK WI
St. Mary’s Catholic Church is looking for an exemplary candidate to serve as full-time Director of Religious Education and Youth Minister in Tomahawk, WI. The candidate must:

• Be living in full sacramental communion with the Catholic Church
• Hold a degree in theology, youth ministry, catechetics or a related field OR have experience in youth ministry and religious education
• Be working towards or possess elevated level catechetical certification from the Diocese of Superior
• Be competent in visioning, applying age-appropriate methods and basic program development
• Exhibit skills in interpersonal communication and relationship building
• Lead and develop religious education programs that align with the church's mission and values
• Communicate effectively with families and children to foster a supportive learning environment
• Organize events and activities that promote community engagement and spiritual growth
• Mentor volunteers, ensuring effective teaching methods are utilized
• Collaborate with church leadership to enhance program development and outreach initiatives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
