What are the responsibilities and job description for the Varsity Men's and Women's Swim Coach position at St. Mary’s Catholic High School?
St. Mary’s Catholic High School is looking to hire a boys and girls varsity swim head coach for the 2025 season.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The swim head coach will train student athletes in the fundamental skills, strategies, and physical training necessary for them to realize their talents as well as a degree of individual and team success.
Applicants should strive to develop a program that is in line with the school’s mission, placing a primary emphasis on the physical, moral, and academic formation of the young men and women in their program.
Applicants should possess the coaching experience and background needed to evaluate and develop athletes in swim.
A qualified applicant will need to possess the following upon hire:
1. Completed Safe Environment Training through the Diocese of Phoenix
2. All required NFHS Courses
3. Current CPR and First Aid Certification
4. Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
5. Applicant must be a certified teacher or an NFHS certified coach
