Maintains and operates the AIM Database for the Department of Aging & Human Services and performs other administrative duties; also performs other duties as assigned.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Maintains and operates a Department of Aging & Human Services Database required by the Maryland Departing of Aging;Prepares various reports, forms, correspondence, etc. as directed;Maintains and manages records relevant to the Department;Provides administrative support to the staff of multiple divisions to meet division goals and objectives;Assists with the coordination and organization of office workload to ensure the smooth and efficient working of the Department;Assist with data collection, data entry, compilation and reporting for the various divisions;Maintain confidential files;May: Attend various training opportunities relevant to the Department;Provide reception support at the senior activity centers as needed;Utilize a web-based software to track, register, and accept payment for Department programs and events.Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Associates degree;Two or more years of related experience;Or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience.Physical and Environmental ConditionsWork may require minimal demand for physical effort.Work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts which require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices or meeting rooms, e.g., use of safe work place practices with office equipment, and/or avoidance or trips and falls.
