- Position Purpose : The Clinical Tech will work within St. Mary's Hospital in Athens GA.This position is 36 hours / week with varying days.What you will do : The Clinical Technician works under the direction of the RN / LPN. The responsibilities of the clinical tech include assessing and providing basic patient care needs while maintaining patient care standards. The clinical technician should be self-motivated and able to function as a member of a health care team. Will float to multiple nursing units and may also function as a Patient Safety Observer.What you will need : Licensure / Certification / Registration : Nursing Assistant certification preferred. BLS certification required.Education : Must be a high school graduate or have GED equivalent. A student in a medical field program may be hired into a clinical technician position.Experience : Hospital or Clinical experience preferredSpecial Qualifications : Computer skills required.
