Position Purpose
CT Technologist in the Radiology Department at Good Samaritan Hospital, in Greensboro GA. *$7,500 Sign on Bonus (Must have at least 1 yr experience as a CT Tech to be eligible for the Sign on bonus)
Weekend Part time position: Saturday and Sunday 7a to 7p
Will also work with Diagnostic Xray's as well.
What You Will Do
- Under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
- Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis.
- Perform routine CT scans on pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, and trauma patients.
- Assist the radiologist in special procedures such as biopsies, drain tube placements, injections, and markings.
- Performing angiography studies of the brain, neck, and chest with 3D reformats
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: registered or registry eligible with ARRT
- Education: Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
- Experience: One year experience in hospital environment preferred and to demonstrate Radiological technology competence
