What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echosonographer, FT, St Mary's Hospital, Athens, GA position at St. Mary's Health Care System?
What you will do:
- Performs all echocardiography examinations including 2D transthoracic, 2D Transesophageal, 3D Transthoracic and 3D Transesophageal.
- When requested, will perform echocardiograms in the cardiac cath lab and at patient’s bedside.
- Coordinates inpatient and outpatient workflow and maintains department standards for productivity.
- Takes call with other Echo Techs’ on a rotational basis
What you will need:
- Licensure/Certification/Registration: Current registry from a licensed credentialing organization.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasonography school with advanced registration in echo cardiography is preferred.
- Experience: At least 1yr experience as Echo Tech.
