What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Patient Access Training Specialist position at St. Mary's Health Care System?
This position is responsible for EPIC assessment, training, and continuing education of colleagues within assigned Health Ministries (HM) as it relates to Patient Access operational management duties. Ensures all Patient Access colleagues exhibit general competencies in the use of the Health Information System (HIS) and all other associated Revenue Cycle computer applications as well as organizational and governmental regulatory rules and processes. Provides new hire orientation followed by onsite monitoring to all Patient Access new hire colleagues including new hire colleagues from decentralized departments performing Patient Access related job duties.
