Job Requisition : REQ3161 Employment Type : Per Diem Shift : Rotating Hours Per Week : As scheduledHiring Range : $42.84 Flat rateThe actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.Responsibilities : Sets up and adjusts all imaging equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures.Performs routine and complex studies and assists in a variety of imaging procedures.Recognizes significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.Ensures all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.Ensures prompt submission of high-quality of all images and documents sent to PACS (image quality, and patient data / history).Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms and any other areas in department.Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipmentCardiac Sonographers must be self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, cardiac pathology, and new procedures as they evolve.Assists in cardiac protocols, policy and procedures.Complexity of Work :
