License : Required ARRT
Certifications : Required Computed Tomography, EPIC, IV Certification
Must-Have : Associate's Degree, Radiation badges provided by the vendor
Job Description :
- Perform general CAT Scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams.
- Complete post-processing in a timely manner.
- Conduct CT angiography with post-processing.
- Perform scans of trauma patients efficiently and in a timely manner.
- Handle medications during their distribution or administration process.
- Access secured drug storage areas as needed.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients, self, and auxiliary staff.
- Maintain high quality and image production in scanning.
- Demonstrate leadership in coordinating radiology care across all settings.
- Showcase reliability and effective communication skills.
- Utilize problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and decision-making skills.
- Contribute to department planning and process improvement.
- Participate in departmental and modality meetings.
- Assist in orientation and training of new associates and students.
The role requires the ability to demonstrate expertise in these areas while maintaining a professional approach.
