Job Overview: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Neurology
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with a background in neurology to join our growing team. This role involves working closely with neurologists to assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of neurological conditions in both new and established patients.
Ideal candidates will have strong clinical acumen, excellent communication skills, and a genuine interest in neurology. You’ll be an integral part of our care team, helping to improve patient outcomes through personalized, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including patient history, physical exams, and neurological assessments.
- Diagnose and manage conditions such as migraines, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neuropathy, Parkinson’s disease, stroke recovery, and other neurological disorders.
- Interpret diagnostic tests including MRI, CT, EEG, and EMG results in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management, lifestyle recommendations, and referrals as needed.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and long-term management.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff for holistic, team-based care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation using EMR systems.
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) license.
- Certification by an accredited NP or PA board.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in neurology or a related specialty preferred.
- Strong understanding of neurological conditions and treatment modalities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
- EMR proficiency and strong documentation habits.
