Position: Grade 3 Classroom Teacher (Full-Time)
School Year: 2025–2026
St. Mary’s Parish School is seeking a dedicated, mission-driven educator to join our faculty as a full-time Grade 3 classroom teacher for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a self-contained classroom position, responsible for delivering instruction across all core subject areas and fulfilling Grade 3 homeroom responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about Catholic education, committed to fostering both the academic and spiritual growth of students, and able to cultivate a nurturing, engaging, and structured learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
•Teach all core Grade 3 subjects, using curriculum materials aligned with both state and diocesan standards.
•Design and implement engaging lesson plans utilizing a range of instructional strategies and educational technologies.
•Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, including tests, projects, writing assignments, and class discussions.
•Maintain a supportive and well-managed classroom that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic achievement.
•Utilize Google Classroom and other digital tools to support instruction, communication, and student learning.
•Collaborate with a classroom teaching assistant to enhance student support and instruction.
•Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians to support student growth and success.
•Foster a classroom environment that supports the social-emotional needs of third-grade learners.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required; a valid teaching license or certification is strongly preferred.
•Prior classroom teaching experience, preferably in an elementary or Catholic school setting.
•Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
•A commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
