St. Mary’s Parish School is seeking a passionate, mission-driven educator to join our faculty as a Music and Art Teacher. This full-time position—or two part-time roles, one focused on Music and one on Art—offers a unique opportunity to inspire students through the beauty of the arts while nurturing their spiritual and creative development.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Catholic education and possess both enthusiasm for teaching and a deep appreciation for the arts. Responsibilities include:
•Delivering dynamic instruction in music, fostering musical skills, knowledge, and appreciation in students across grade levels
•Integrating faith into music education and performances, including liturgical planning and leadership
•Leading and managing the school choir
•Inspiring students in visual arts, encouraging creative exploration, and cultivating artistic expression in a faith-based environment
Candidates should bring a combination of artistic expertise, classroom experience, and a dedication to nurturing the holistic growth of each student.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree preferred
•Prior teaching experience, especially in an elementary school, is strongly preferred
•Demonstrated ability to manage a classroom effectively and engage learners from K-8.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills
•Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
