St. Mary’s Physicians is the primary provider of surgical care for a vast region encompassing nine counties, with nearly all hospitals in the vicinity classified as Critical Access Hospitals. Without access to Neurosurgery services locally, patients face a daunting additional journey of 1.5 hours to Oklahoma City for treatment.
