Position Summary
- Participates in the modification of the plan of care by collaborating with other members of the multidisciplinary team with consideration of the developmental needs of the patient.
- Participates in the evaluation of the patient’s response to interventions based upon predicted outcome.
- Reassesses the patient as defined in the Nursing Standards of Care Policy and modifies the plan of care as needed.
- Contributes to the assessment of the patient by conducting focused assessments of the patient.
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) practices under the direction or supervision of the professional registered nurse.
- The LPN implements nursing care for assigned patients and assists the RN in the assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of nursing care.
- This includes demonstrating competency in strong basic patient care skills, clerical/courier duties, stocking, transporting, specific patient care duties, and other departmental duties as requested. May be floated as needed treating all diversities.
- Actively demonstrates a passion for patient care while demonstrating service recovery if needed and displays service excellence at all times.
- Follows standard of care as defined within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse and reflects the American Nurses Association’s Code of Ethics for Nurses and the Nurse Practice Act of Oklahoma.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
- Current LPN license in Oklahoma.
- Current BLS required.
- Experience in oncology preferred.
- Basic computer skills required.
