We are seeking a Group Home Supervisor to oversee daily operations, ensure the well-being of residents, and lead a team of dedicated Houseparents. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate Houseparents to ensure policies and procedures are followed.
- Oversee the safety, hygiene, and personal well-being of residents.
- Maintain schedules, household inventories, and facility upkeep.
- Serve as the primary contact for parents and guardians regarding residents' progress.
- Implement vocational and community orientation programs.
- Organize recreational and social activities in accordance with regulations.
- Conduct weekly staff meetings, provide supervision, and ensure compliance with Title XIX Regulations.
- Transport residents to medical appointments and ensure follow-ups are completed.
- Manage household budgets, petty cash, and grocery shopping.
- Provide direct care in the absence of Houseparents to minimize overtime.
- Train new employees and provide continuous support to staff.
- Respond to emergencies, facility evacuations, and crisis situations.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate degree preferred. Relevant experience may be substituted with approval.
- Experience: At least two years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or two years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage a budget and use computer software.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license. Ability to pass background checks and meet all regulatory requirements.
