Summary/Job Scope: Laborer

Purpose of Position: Laborers clean the plant as directed to keep it in safe operating condition. This includes landscaping and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote a safe work environment and safe job performance by actively participating in all plant safety programs as directed by management.
• Perform general manual labor throughout the Plant and Quarry as directed, including but not limited to shoveling, sweeping, vacuuming, jackhammering, etc.
• Report any environmental issues.
• Report any safety issues/concerns.
• Assist in any other activities as required.
• Fill in when trained as needed for other classifications containing vacancies.

Qualifications and Education:

• Industrial experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to lift 50-100 pounds.
• Ability to work outside.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
