The Director of Therapeutic Services plays a vital role in leading and coordinating the organization’s therapeutic program across multiple disciplines, including Occupational Therapy, Dietary Services, Physical Therapy, and Speech Therapy. This role requires a dynamic leader who will create an environment that fosters collaboration, engagement, and compassion while ensuring that services are person-centered and aligned with the organization's mission. Lead, Manage, and Accountability
Supervise, mentor, and inspire teams across all therapeutic disciplines to create a supportive, fun and engaging work environment that values collaboration.
- Develop and execute strategic plans that promote the integration of therapeutic disciplines, with a focus on person-centered care that aligns with the organization’s goals.
- Participate in the recruitment, training, and professional development of staff, ensuring that they feel valued and supported in their roles.
- Conduct performance evaluations, offer constructive feedback, and empower team members to grow in their careers.
- Foster a collaborative approach among all therapeutic disciplines, encouraging open communication and mutual respect in order to provide the best possible care for residents.

Program Development and Oversight
- Design, implement and evaluate each discipline within the therapeutic program and collaborative approaches to ensure alignment with the person-centered needs and preferences of residents.
- Ensure that the program meets regulatory requirements while also reflecting the organization’s commitment to quality care and compassionate service.
- Monitor and assess program outcomes, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement and ensure therapeutic services are meeting residents' needs.
- Support and guide staff across all disciplines, ensuring that services are delivered in a caring and effective manner that respects individual preferences and needs.

Quality Assurance and Improvement
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of therapeutic services to maintain high standards of care.

- Audit and enhance record keeping systems and participate in system implementations/conversions as needed
Budget and Resource Management
- Manage the budget for the therapeutic services department, including allocation of resources for each discipline.
- Oversee the procurement and maintenance of therapeutic materials and equipment.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, while fostering an environment of respect and integrity.
- Oversee accurate and confidential documentation, making sure that all records reflect the high standards of care and attention to individual needs.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to ensure services are continually improving and evolving.
- Ensure team members’ professional licenses are maintained and filed with the Human Resources Office.
