Job Details
The RN partners with our residents and other care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment by providing direct and indirect care. Units include 3 East is a 31-bed specialized unit, working with Alzheimer's / dementia residents, and tailoring care to meet their needs. The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit provides short-term, skilled nursing and rehab services. 3 West is a 42-bed long-term care unit providing care in a home-like environment.
Job Requirements
Associates in Nursing required.
Need valid State of Maine or compact RN license.
1-3 years previous RN experience preferred.
Medical terminology preferred.
Strong teamwork and communication skills required.
The ability to work well within a team of other care providers.
Flexibility required to coverage 24 hours / day, 7 days per week.
Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
Unit Specific Information
3 East specializes in Alzheimer's / dementia care.
The Transitional Rehabilitation Unit focuses on short-term rehab services.
3 West provides long-term care in a home-like environment.
Additional Details
Candidates with licensure hits will not be considered.
Orientation up to 16 hours may be unpaid.
St. Mary's has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
Candidate must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
