Position Overview

The House Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of St. Matthew Circle Residential Group Home Therapeutic Group Home. This position oversees all Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) staff and is responsible for maintaining a safe, supportive environment for our clients. The House Manager ensures compliance with agency policies, oversees staff scheduling and training, and directly supports the CEO and Clinical Services Director with administrative and operational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

The House Manager will:

• Supervision and Scheduling:
• Oversee all Behavioral Health Technicians, including creating and maintaining staff schedules.
• Ensure all BHT shifts are adequately staffed and cover open shifts when necessary.
• Safety and Monitoring:
• Monitor residents to ensure their safety and well-being, in collaboration with all BHT staff.
• Staff Recruitment and Training:
• Recruit and fill BHT vacancies as needed.
• Orient, onboard, and train new Behavioral Health Technicians.
• Compliance and Performance Management:
• Review time clock records to ensure accurate attendance and adherence to agency policies.
• Provide coaching and counseling to BHT staff to address performance or behavioral concerns.
• Communication and Reporting:
• Serve as a liaison between BHT staff and the CEO/Clinical Services Director to address staff concerns.
• Document and submit incident reports in compliance with agency and regulatory policies.
• Conduct and participate in team meetings and staff training sessions.
• Additional Duties:
• Conduct and/or coordinate required bed checks and record client statuses.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the CEO or Clinical Services Director.

Physical Demands

• Frequent walking and standing (50%-80% of the shift).
• Occasional bending and carrying of light items (up to 10 pounds).
• Local travel up to 30% of the time.

Work Environment

• Work is primarily conducted indoors in a climate-controlled facility.
• Some outdoor work is required during security rounds and client supervision.

Pay: $15.65 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
